Overwater and beach villas on a private atoll, a house reef you can swim to from your steps, and a kitchen garden that supplies most of the menu.
Fourteen villas is the maximum the reef can carry without stress — a number set by the marine biologist who surveyed the atoll, not by an accountant.
The island generates 92% of its own power from the solar field behind the garden, desalinates its own water, and composts everything the kitchen cannot use. None of it is a headline; it is just how the place is run.
Measured on the island and published every year, whether or not the numbers flatter us.
Every villa has an outdoor shower, a hammock and a ladder or a path straight into the lagoon.
